Rental FAQs

Practical answers before you reserve the unit.

What is included in the rental quote?+

Derkson shows the monthly rate, first and last month, outbound and return transportation, load fees, fuel surcharge and applicable taxes before checkout.

Which size should I choose?+

A 20FT container is easier to place and works well for household contents, tools and compact jobsites. A 40FT container offers roughly twice the floor length for larger inventories, farms and construction projects.

Can I extend the rental?+

Contact Derkson before the planned end date. Extensions depend on the agreement and account status, but keeping the same container is usually simpler than arranging a pickup and replacement.

Can I purchase later?+

Ask about purchasing an available unit or switching to an eligible Rent-to-Own container. Rental payments do not automatically build ownership unless the written agreement specifically says Rent to Own.

Who handles delivery and pickup?+

Derkson coordinates placement and return transportation. The customer keeps the access route and pickup area clear, firm and safe for the truck and trailer.

What happens if the container is damaged?+

Normal wear is expected. Cleaning, unauthorized alterations, missing equipment or damage beyond normal use may be charged under the signed rental agreement.
